Atelier — Nørrebro 55.69° N · Red Hook 40.68° N
Two cities,one drawing.
Copenhagen
Acoustics, tuning, and the stubborn pursuit of a quiet room. Twelve people, two cats, one anechoic chamber in a former bakery.
Brooklyn
Machining, finishing and assembly on the Red Hook waterfront. Nine people, five mills and an anodizing line we built ourselves.
Four steps,no shortcuts.

Draw
Acoustic engineers model the cup volume to the cubic millimetre, then draw it by hand before it ever meets CAD.

- Brooklyn
Mill
A 280 g billet of 6063 aluminium spends four hours on a five-axis mill. What remains weighs 14 g and holds ±4 µm.

- Brooklyn
Anodize
Parts are bead-blasted, then anodized in small batches so every colourway keeps the same depth of tone.

Tune
Each pair is measured against a reference room in Nørrebro and matched within 0.5 dB, left to right.

“If the sand draws a clean line, the metal is honest.”
— Signe Holm, head of tuning
